The Custom Cedar Mailbox

The supplier for the base Cedar Mailbox I use no longer manufactures them. I’m currently looking for an alternate supplier. Until this is resolved, I cannot take any orders for these mailboxes. I have left the products here, since any of the figures can also be made available as Welcome Signs.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

For those who want an alternative to our standard aluminum mailboxes, we are pleased to offer this cedar mailbox. This unique mailbox is a handpainted work of art, featuring your favorite breed.

The figures are individually painted on 3/4” thick poplar, and are mounted on both sides of the mailbox. After painting, and applying several coats of clearcoat, they are attached to the box with both glue and screws. The cedar receives a coat of Thompson Water Seal. The street number, if desired, is cut from a piece of mahogany which is glued to the box.
